In case you missed it, my sixteenth psychological thriller ONE MORE LIE, due for publication on 18th November,is now on pre order! I’m sharing my fabulous cover below, along with the blurb. Before I do, I have to thank my wonderful readers, including dedicated reviewers, without whose support I simply would not be able to do what I do. I think many writers would agree that the writing journey can be a bumpy road and that you really do have to be a passionate soul to keep climbing out of the potholes along the way. I count my blessings every day now I am able to write full time and I can’t reiterate enough how inspiring and uplifting it is to get feedback from people who go to the trouble of sharing their thoughts about my books. Just the other day, I was flagging, struggling with my work in progress, and up pops imposter syndrome. I can’t do this, my mind screamed. Then I read a comment on Insta regarding one of my books, as follows: ‘Sheryl, if you are reading this, I want to thank you not only for this book, but for caring so lovingly for animals, this really touched my heart’. Thank you, Amy. You touched my heart too. See what a little incentive can do? I finished the WIP!
So, you see, it’s because of you, our readers, that we writers keep doing what we do.
To the book! I absolutely adored writing this one. I was sad to let the characters go, but then I think they’re going into safe hands.

On the last day of school, my friends and I gather on the beach to celebrate the long summer ahead.
