The Wife by Shalini Boland
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
We know from the tagline and blurb that something happened on Zoe’s wedding day. Zoe fainted. The explanations are plausible but, even as time passes and blissfully married into the perfect family, Zoe feels something is off. With no recollection of events leading up to her passing out, she doesn’t know what. I’m not going to say too much, other than the chapter where it becomes apparent that people are not who you might think they are… just wow! I first got excited and then had actual chills creeping over my skin. This is psychological thriller at its best for me. Hints dripped in so subtly they toy with you. And the main revelation… Boom! I loved this book. It’s one I honestly could not put down and would highly recommend. Thanks to the author for a fab read.
